After the release of iOS 18.2 and the first beta of iOS 18.3, it seems that the next update for iPhone and iPad will be iOS 18.2.1a version that is already starting to appear in some website access analyzes and for which we currently do not have a beta version.
Apple released iOS 18.2 a few days ago, adding new features to Apple Intelligence and expanding the countries in which Apple's artificial intelligence is available, although for now in Europe and much of the world, we are still waiting. After her, as we all hoped, came the first beta of iOS 18.3, the final version of which will be available to everyone in January. The disappointment with this new version is that, at least in its first beta, there are no notable new features, which is strange for a single decimal place update, which is usually “important”. But before iOS 18.3 arrives, we will have a new update with “two decimal places”, specifically iOS 18.2.1, which is already starting to appear in the analysis of web pages.
One of the first clues to future updates comes from website access analytics, in which you can see which devices are accessing websites and with what operating system they are doing so. When Apple engineers start testing updates, even before beta versions are released, they leave these traces in the analytics of the websites they access. The fact that we are with the iOS 18.3 betas and that there are already accesses with iOS 18.2.1 says it will be a minor bug-fixing update with no other major improvements or new featuresand which will be released without a Beta period, directly in final version and soon. We will be attentive because for the moment no major bugs have been detected in iOS 18.2 requiring rapid correction.
