We take a look at all of the Apple launches in 2021, a year full of new things and new Apple products.
This year 2021 we have seen the launch of many devices and news by Apple. These have been broken down into three key times throughout the year: April, September, and October. We will go through them all and assess their importance to the future of the company.
Released on April 20, 2021
Apple’s first surprises of the year arrived in April. Prepared apple an event in which he presented many noveltiesincluding rumored AirTags and the long-awaited new iMac.
AirTag
We had heard rumors about AirTags and Apple has finally presented its small tracking device. It is the cheapest device sold by Apple, and in less than a year we have heard many stories of users who have managed to get their possessions back thanks to them.
Apple TV 4K
A fairly small renovation of an accessory doomed to disappear if it does not evolve quickly. Apple TV is too big a too expensive product. This update introduced a new Siri remote control and A12 Bionic chip
24-inch iMac
The colors of the new iMac
Without a doubt one of the great protagonists of this event, and of the whole year. Apple needed to revamp its iMac, and it did it brilliantly the first Mac ever designed for an Apple Silicon processor. The iMac has not only completely changed its design, with new colors and extreme finesse, but it has also integrated the M1 chip. One of the best devices Apple released in 2021.
iPad Pro
The iPad Pro was also updated during this event, surprisingly integrating the M1 chip. The same Mac processor came on the iPad. In addition, mini-LED technology has been incorporated into the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. However, what seemed very interesting at the time was not reflected in the software. The iPad Pro M1 is capable of doing the same as previous generations.

In September, everyone looks to Cupertino for one of the best speeches of the year, because this is when the iPhone is presented. And this year Apple has introduced a lot more.
ipad mini
A very good surprise in this 2021. The iPad mini had never updated its design and Apple made a radical change to make it a product more than interesting for the majority of users. We have a compact design, compatibility with Apple Pencil, and a screen that grows and sits above 8 inches.
iPad (9th generation)
iPad 2021 and all its technical characteristics.
One of those routine updates, but no less important for it. Basically, this new generation of iPad is updating its processor to A13 Bionic chip
iPhone 13
The iPhone 13 is spectacular.
The most anticipated Apple device of the year, although once again rumors have eclipsed any surprises. This new generation, made up of iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, is fairly continuous with the previous one, retaining the exterior design and slightly reducing the notch.
This is an internal update, with a better processor, better cameras and displays, especially in the Pro range, but without any revolution. This may be what we expect with the iPhone 14 of 2022.
Apple Watch Series 7
Perhaps one of the disappointments of the year. After hearing rumors of a major design change, we came across an Apple Watch virtually identical to the Series 6 with a larger screen. We even have the same processor and sensors, so this is a below expectation update.
Apple Fitness + in more countries
A launch that could well have happened earlier. Apple Fitness + is already available in countries such as Europe or Mexico, however Apple has not translated the trainings or integrated trainers from other countries, we just have subtitles
In addition, during this month of September, Apple also released the final versions of its operating systems, iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and watchOS 8, undoubtedly a month rich in novelties.
October 18 releases
The year 2021 reserved us one last surprise before finishing, and Apple introduced two highly anticipated devices.
Macbook Pro
Another surprise of the year, Apple presented two new MacBook Pro, 14 and 16 inches, with two new Apple silicon processors: the M1 Pro and the M1 Max. Two variations of the M1 with additional power for the most professional. The new MacBook Pros also feature new connections and displays, along with a notch that makes them quite recognizable.
AirPod 3
Another device that has been around for months and finally saw the light of day before the end of 2021. This Third-generation AirPods radically change their design, looking more like AirPods Pro and incorporating some of its improvements.
HomePod mini in more colors
The HomePod mini is now available in orange, yellow, and blue.
Another little surprise, Apple released the HomePod mini in new colors: blue, orange and yellow. A small renovation to make a device that is in our house more personal.
Without doubt the 2021 has been an important year for Apple with many launches new devices and products. We will see if 2022 maintains this rhythm of presentations and we will see at least as many new devices as in 2021.
