Three new Macs will mark the end of the Apple Silicon transition.
The biggest transition Apple has seen in recent years It is said to be about to end in 2022 with the launch of three major computers.
Apple Silicon is the most recent project that Apple has worked on. Venturing into the processor manufacturing industry gave the company the freedom to use their technology to improve their computers.
Apple Silicon 2022
The new computers equipped with Apple chips have not only seen a great advance in terms of power of use and performance which is remarkable, also were praised by experts and analysts who applauded this process as a big change. So quitting Intel and using its chips was a drastic decision, but a very positive one.
Now this could all end with a series of new Macs announced at WWDC 22. Expert and very famous leaker Mark Gurman said the transition from Intel chips to Apple chips will end this year with the launch of a new Mac Pro, a more powerful Mac mini and a large-screen iMac Pro.
“The company has a slew of new professional Macs in the works based on the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that are already inside the MacBook Pro. This includes a smaller Mac Pro with up to 40 processor cores and 128 graphics cores, a new Mac mini, and a large-screen iMac Pro. I would expect Apple to complete its transition to its own silicon from Intel chips as early as June during WWDC 2022.
These outputs would last until the second semester, so other Macs can arrive in the first half of the year to save time and ensure all Macs are at the quality level needed to complete the transition. According to this information, among these first 2022 Macs, we could find this possible last Mac with an Intel chip that caused a lot of ink to flow a few days ago.
Gurman also said that the arrival of the new M2 chip should not necessarily mean a high performance improvement, but rather be a leap in stability and efficiency like every year with the iPhone.
