The global health emergency has meant Apple’s physical stores did not have their best time last year. And not to mention the new openings. However, and with the return to normality, Apple has decided to resume its opening schedule for this 2021, with the opening of its first Apple Store in Rome in the coming months.
The first Apple Store in Rome, first announced last January, is in the final stages of construction to become a new department store steeped in history. According to the mouth feel shared since the signature of the bitten apple, Apple Via del Corso is the result of an intense collaboration between countless talented teams since many years.
The Apple Store “Via del Corso” is the first opening of this 2021
The ambitious design of the Apple Store Via del Corso was created by architects Foster + Partners. Apple called for adaptation of a 19th century palace. The exterior details have been restored with extreme attention to detail and the interior of the structure has been reinvented to honor its historic character.
Apple opened its first store in Italy over 14 years ago and will now offer support, products and creative sessions to customers in central Rome for the first time. Apple Via del Corso is the seventeenth Apple Store opened in Italy. And it promises to be one of the most impressive. While not ready for public entrance, it can be recognized by passers-by, thanks to the marble-themed Apple logo that adorns its facade.
