Apple is once again involved in controversy due to the rejection of the UTM application, a PC emulator which sought to be present on iOS and iPadOS
We believed that all existing emulators would be available sooner or later on the App Store or through alternative stores. A change in the retro console emulator rule encouraged said developers to submit their app, but Apple relies on the fact that a PC is not a console. The most complicated thing about this matter is that UTM was also blocked from being available in alternative stores.

Another important point is that the UTM version submitted for review had the JIT compiler disabled. This compiler cannot be present in applications distributed on iOS, except in authorized alternative navigation engines.
This may have been an internal warning within UTM as functions and performance were affected.. The version without JIT was an SE version.
Given what happened, The developers have stated that they will not make a second attempt to bring this experience to iOS and iPadOS.. So it will be available like AltStore used to be.
