Apple’s best moments of 2020
It was a very different and difficult year for everyone, and it marked Apple’s release schedule, which were produced in new ways and in new formats.
5. The return of the iPhone SE
For many years we have been talking about a successor to the original iPhone SE and finally in this 2020 it was produced. The new iPhone SE is the cheapest iPhone ever sold by Apple and it maintains the same philosophy as the original model.
We keep the design of a previous iPhone and modification of the processor internal for the most current of the moment. This improves performance and many functions, such as photos. A long-awaited wish that came true in 2020.
4. iPad Pro Magic Keyboard
This year 2020 was the year the iPad Pro became a much more productive device, and much of the fault is on the new Magic Keyboard, the Backlit keyboard with trackpad as Apple launched earlier in the year.
This keyboard, coupled with native mouse and trackpad support, makes the iPad now much more useful and productive when we work with it.
3. The presentation of the iPhone 12
The new iPhone keynote is one of the most important moments of every year. It probably is, the most viewed and commented event of all technology companies of the world.
This year has been very important because for the first time, Apple introduced 4 iPhones in the same opening speechPlus with a cool new design. And yet, it’s one of our favorite times of the year.
2. WWDC20: iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and macOS Big Sur
For the first time, WWDC, Apple’s developer conference, was held without an audience. But still, it was one of the best in memory, both for what is presented and how it is presented.
The WWDC20 was one of the fastest growing Apple keynotes in memoryApple introduced a lot and did it with Hollywood-worthy transitions and video effects.
We also saw big improvements in all your operating systems. iOS 14 brought the biggest home screen overhaul yet, with new widgets, iPadOS was made fully mouse and trackpad compatible in a superb way, and macOS Big Sur has redesigned its icons. and many interface elements. Without a doubt one of the best times of the year.
1. The M1 processor
Probably the least expected of all. While it might not sound like it, Apple has just started a revolution that many compare to that of the iPhone. New Apple processors are coming to Macs and they are doing so with surprising results, being much better than Intel equivalents.
We expected this change, but we didn’t expect it to be this good. Apple has given itself 2 years of leeway for this transition, but the truth is that we are all waiting for them to come and see what they are capable of. The M1 marks a new before and after on Mac, and 2020 will be the date this happened.
These were our 5 favorite moments of this 2020 apple. There are five very good moments and we hope that in 2021 we will see at least as many as positive ones.
