Will Apple’s Mixed Reality Glasses be released soon? Analysts say they could be in stores within a year.
Throughout this year, we have been able to discover all the information on possible augmented reality glasses from Apple. Although Apple hasn’t made it official (it hasn’t even provided any information about it), analysts believe that it isit will be one of the novelties available
Right after WWDC 2022, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned that Apple’s augmented reality glasses are in developmentand will most likely hit the market next year.
Apple Glasses will likely be available in 2023
Early predictions about Apple’s mixed reality glasses were that the company would mention them at the WWDC 2022 event, with an eye on a hypothetical release date sometime in the first quarter of 2023. That didn’t happen. , and Segun Ming-Chi Kuo is due to supply issues from factories in China.
I believe Apple’s AR/MR headset ship date will be pushed back to 2Q23 (against 1Q23 market consensus) as Shanghai lockdown disrupts development. Unsurprisingly, there were no indications for AR/MR headsets at WWDC 2022. Here’s my prediction for Apple’s AR/MR headset schedule.
The analyst mentions that it is highly probable that the launch date of this new device remains in 2023, although they are expected for the May-June market, before the summer. In fact, he made a fairly detailed prediction:
- EVT from 3Q22
- Media event in January 2023
- Delivery of the development kit for February 2023
- Pre-orders during 2Q23
- They will be in stores before WWDC 2023
Of course, these dates are just a prediction from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, although he mentions that Apple does not want to reveal more details to prevent competitors from copying key eyewear features.
