Apple with a new bug in the Books app in iOS 15.5
According to user reports made on 9to5Mac, it has been recorded that the application does not work in any way. In the App Store, just look at the number of negative reviews where it is criticized that you cannot open any books after the update.
The users who complain the most are those of iPadOS. One of the reviews reflects the helplessness and desperation of not being able to carry out such a simple activity as reading a book. Officially, Apple is not aware of this situation. although the criticisms have already reached the team in charge of the application. We do not rule out releasing a version of iOS 15.5.1 to fix this issue. In the meantime, we suggest applications to be able to read books from your iPhone or iPad or also to listen to audiobooks if you want to discover something new.
In beta versions, the Books app works normally
Currently, the current beta period outside of iOS 16 is active. iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 beta do not log this issue. It is not advisable to switch to these versions given the time in which we are. Apple can make a decision, launch this latest beta version or launch this one urgently.
On the other hand, iOS 15.6 will not bring any important news except for the changes that exist internally to improve the performance of the operating system and some problems that have been found in terms of security.
If you have already installed the betas of iOS 16 or iPadOS 16, you don’t need to worry. Common errors in new operating systems range from the simplest to the most complex. It is important to report any bugs in the Feedback app.
