Special date celebrations are the best excuse for Apple Watch to invite your users to keep moving. Like every year, the device updates a new challenge in order to the celebration of International Women’s Day, next March 8.
The upcoming Apple Watch Activity Challenge will offer users the opportunity to earn a special trophy for completing the challenge.
Apple announces March Apple Watch activity challenge
Users must perform a workout of at least 20 minutes to meet the challenge. Time can be recorded through the Workout app on Apple Watch, Apple Fitness +, or any fitness app that syncs workouts with the Health app. Segpun has reviewed iMoore.
The challenge to unlock the virtual trophy is to complete a workout of at least 20 minutes or more on International Women’s Day in March. This can range from a 20 minute yoga session to a 20 minute run with the Workout app or any app that records workouts in the Health app.
In addition to winning the special trophy, users they will also receive exclusive stickers which can be used in Messages or in the FaceTime app. The sticker collection includes:
- A female gender symbol.
- Two women stand while greeting.
- A woman in a wheelchair waving.
- An animated 2021 sticker in purple and red colors.
Apple hosts many Apple Watch activity challenges throughout the year. Recently, the company celebrated Heart Month with the “Heart Month Challenge”
In order not to forget the event or to encourage those who do not have it on their agenda, Apple Watch users should receive a notification informing them of the challenge Apple Watch International Women’s Day activities shortly before the event begins on March 8.
