He has had a lot of discussions on camera modules in the iPhone Rumorsphere lately: the handsets of the iPhone 17 have stood the same rear design as the previous generation, or will they go to a bar thin horizontal or a giant strip? A new leak gives us a little more clarity on the new generation of iPhone this fall.
According to a set of CAD rendering published on Sunday at X by the veteran Le flight Majin BU, there will be not one or two but three Different conceptions of exposed camera modules, which could explain the previous confusion. The two pro models will have their triple rear lenses integrated into a thick strip that crosses the back of the phone, as expected earlier this month by Jon Prosser. The standard iPhone 17, on the other hand, will remain with the same design as the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus: two objectives stacked vertically, in a small correspondence module. (This design, if you remember it, was a change in relation to the diagonal arrangement of iphones 13 to 15.)
But the latest model in the whole, the highly anticipated air-Slim iPhone 17 air, appears to have another design. The rumors provide that the 17 air will only have one camera lens on the back to reduce the components and keep the size and weight of the chassis. This unique lens, according to new rendering (and corroborated by a possible case of prototype disclosed by the same source last month) will be contained in a thin horizontal bar.
In other words, based on the latest information, the three theories of my opening paragraph are correct. (It is easy work, this prediction forecast.) You can also see a rectangle under the network of cameras on pro models which should be aluminum, while non -pro models remain with glass on the back.
