Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman assured that the iMac Pro would have an Apple SoC with 20 or 40 base compute variants that would include options of 16 or 32 performance cores and 4 or 8 efficiency cores. As for GPU cores, we would speak of 64 or 128 cores.
It is true that this rumored data does not confirm which processors the iMac Pro will have, but it can give us an idea of what Apple could put in place.
Other novelties
Apple could implement an improved FaceTime camera that relies on the M1 or M2 processor to deliver higher picture quality.
