Facebook has redesigned and simplified Messenger's request for devices, but now that's all for sure we are days to see your messaging app arrive as a Mac application.
Mac Messenger
Without a doubt, Messenger is an experience and even a need to communicate today. Social networking Facebook has better information on its company and that is why users always ask for a version of Apple's computers.
As of last spring it was known that the Messenger would be replaced with a Mac, but it was not clear whether it would appear on Catalyst, if Apple announced the project or it would be available directly from the Mac App store. Now we can be sure we can have Messenger as a desktop app.
Messenger app for Mac It was found in the Mac App Store in France, where the present has not yet come as usual. MacGeneration he said in his post that This version is the same as the one with iOS, notifications, black mode and all other settings we already know in your iPhone app will also be available on macOS, or it is possible to make calls and videos.
Messenger outside Catalyst
Although it was thought that apps like Facebook would take advantage of this Catalyst opportunity with MacOS Catalina, it seems unlikely that the company plans to go straight to everything by offering an independent application made at Electron which is the basis for the creation of desktop applications and allows the taking of a web application to work with multiple codes.
The benefit of Facebook giving its Messenger application under this program is that should not be limited to be installed only by users with macOS Catalina, but will also work from macOS 10.10 which covers the broader market.
Applications like Slack they are built with the same tool And they are very effective. And even though Messenger had its place at the time, the fact was that it was time to have this application on Mac. Now it's only a matter of time to be released in many countries and enjoy Messenger from anywhere Where we take our computer.
