Nokia ushered in this 2023 with the simple Nokia C12 and now, about two months later, it’s doing the same with the Nokia C12 Pro.Despite what the name might suggest, it’s almost the same mobile, but with a bigger batteryand that it is always removable.
The Nokia C12 Pro is a simple entry-level mobile, with Android Goa practically unknown Unisoc 9863A1 on board and quite contained specifications that stand out mainly for a very attractive design and IP52 certification.

Basic, nice and cheap
If you are looking for a good, beautiful and inexpensive mobile, the Nokia C12 Pro meets at least two of the premises. Which is good will depend on how much you ask the mobile, because there is quite a lot of power with a processor 28nm Unisoc 9863A1 and cores up to 1.6 GHz and 2 or 3 GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage to match.
The terminal has exactly the same design as the existing Nokia C12, with a screen 6.3-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution
Behind, the Nokia C12 Pro sports a minimalist but curious design when playing with textures that Nokia says make it a bit more durable. Unsurprisingly, the terminal has IP52 protection certificate.
As expected, the photographic challenge is quite modest, with a single 8-megapixel lens rear mounted. Even with modest hardware, Nokia promises good portraits and low-light photography.
The main novelty compared to the Nokia C12 is at the battery level, which here has a capacity of 4,000mAh, always with a “slow” charge of 5W and removable. The Nokia C12 Pro has no biometrics and goes on sale with Android 12 Go Edition.
Nokia C12 Pro versions and prices
The Nokia C12 Pro is official in India for now, though it may reach more markets later. It is for sale in the colors grey, cyan and mint and two variants:
- Nokia C12 Pro 2+64 GB: 6,999 Indian rupees, about 78 dollars to change.
- Nokia C12 Pro 3+64 GB: 7,499 Indian rupees, about 84 dollars to change.
