Huawei does not give up its efforts to continue revitalizing a Nova line that, in addition, we have for sale in Europe with the Huawei Nova 8i or with the Huawei Nova 9 which now receives a new companion. The next step in the chain is coming, a Huawei Nova 9 SE which configures itself as a younger brother of the Huawei Nova 9 and which arrives, as expected, without compatibility with 5G networks.
Huawei’s new device treads Chinese territory although it also extends to Malaysia. He will make his debut there with input range specifications, a phone powered by a Snapdragon 680 that opts for a fairly recognizable design for the brand. Let’s see what it has to offer us.

An entry line from Huawei with a familiar layout
The new Huawei Nova 9 SE arrives with the Snapdragon 680 in charge of operations and supported by two versions: 8GB and 128GB for the base model and 8GB and 256GB for the top model, both without microSD tray. The battery is 4000 mAh and recharges at 65 W thanks to Huawei SuperCharge. The phone opts for Android 10 hidden behind EMUI 12 and, logically, without Google services.
As for the screen, the Huawei Nova 9 SE mounts a panel 6.78-inch diagonal IPS LCD screen and the FullHD+ resolution, which with its 20:9 ratio leaves us with a refreshing 2,388 x 1,080 pixels at 90Hz. The touchscreen refreshes at 240Hz, becoming a full-fledged gaming mobile, and it arrives perforated to house the 16-megapixel front camera.
The back photo has 108 megapixels for the main camera, 8 megapixels for a super wide-angle camera and 2 megapixels for depth readings, plus 2 megapixels for macro photography. The mobile offers 4G in its two SIM trays in addition to WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB type C port.
Versions and prices of the Huawei Nova 9 SE
Huawei’s new phone debuts in China and Malaysia in three colors: blue, white and grey. Pricing has not been announced for either territory so we will remain on hold. He is expected to arrive in Europe at some point but that is unconfirmed.
