Fitbit is one of the leaders in the sports equipment sector. In fact, the company’s size is such that a few years ago we learned of Fitbit’s acquisition by Google, which is now part of the technology giant. Fitbit currently has smart watchesactivity bracelets and even a smart scale.
As we could read on 9to5Google, the company has just launched an update for several models of its range of smart watches and bracelets. Specifically, the update we are talking about is now available for Fitbit Sense 2, Fitbit Versa 4, Fitbit Inspire 3 and Fitbit Charge 6 and includes significant improvements.
The update brings significant improvements to Fitbit smartwatches and wristbands
Focusing first on the company’s smartwatches, the Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 have received the update to version 210.26. One of the most notable improvements is YouTube Music Compatibility: Now we can check the playlist, skip songs or adjust the volume directly from the devices.
Both smartwatches also received the magnifying glass function with the most recent update. To activate it, simply tap the screen three times and choose the option that interests us most (we can choose between 2x and 3x). To deactivate the zoom, simply tap the screen again.
Once version 210.26 is installed, the Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 will have automatic recognition of three new new types of training: elliptical bike, rowing and spinning (Static Bike). In addition to the above, the update also brings improvements to GPS accuracy and fixes several bugs.
Moving on to fitness trackers, the Fitbit Inspire 3 now allows us to easily check the time when using the exercise mode. In addition, it now has Automatic recognition of six types of formations: running, walking, cycling, elliptical trainer, rowing machine and spinning.
As soon as the update comes, we will see that all the exercise modes are available in the exercise app. In addition, The operation of the application has been modified to make recently selected exercises appear at the top of the interface, making them easier to find.
The Fitbit Charge 6 also received the update we talked about, which in this device brings automatic detection of the six types of training which also arrived on the Fitbit Inspire 3: running, walking, cycling, elliptical trainer and spinning. In the case of this model, there are also improvements in the accuracy of the GPS and it has been used to correct several errors.
It is important to keep in mind that the company releases updates in stages, so if you try to update your device and you do not see the update we talked about, we recommend that you try again later. Remember that to update your device you must use the Fitbit app on your mobile.
