Apple introduced the Files app in iOS 11, which allows us to manage (no matter how small) our files from the touch of an iPhone, iPad or iPod. This application was upgrading with the next operating system update, and today there is no longer a hub where we can connect our accounts for various cloud storage services, but we can also see documents for external storage wing, such as USB flash drive.
Archives are a powerful tool. Google has updated Gmail for iOS, its service and email manager for iPhone and iPad, to be fully compatible with files, and that users can link documents, photos, etc., in your messages in a simple and easy way.
Integration comes in a sustainable way
Users will only have to open the attachment icon when they create a new message or reply to a single Gmail application and click the Paste button. Here we will find special folder icon directly access the Files content on our iPhone or iPad, as well as search activity.
As is common with Google apps, many new features do not reach all users at the same time, but are gradually deployed, in different stages. Gmail integration with files is one of those cases. Google notes that it may take more than two weeks, and it is unknown if it will need to update an application or a change from the server.
