A very normal variation when choosing a smart watch is that this one is available in two different sizes. This was not the case for the Google Pixel Watch 2 (nor the original Pixel) and it was a problem, both for the aesthetic question of those who like large models and for those who have a wide wrist and 41 millimeters of the case are too small for them.
Well, in January, rumors started circulating that Google had the The Pixel Watch 3 and this one will be available in two different sizes. In recent hours, a new report comes back with this theory on Google smart watches for 2024 and incidentally reveals data on the Pixel Buds Pro 2.

The media 9to5Google cites a source who claims that the The Google Pixel Watch 3 will arrive in sizes of 41 and 45 millimeterscuriously the same two options as the Apple Watch and different from the Samsung watches, which are available in up to four sizes of 40/44mm and 43/47mm.
A 45 millimeter case for the Pixel Watch 3 seems the most logical solution to combine with the existing (and so far only) 41 millimeter version, not only for larger wrists, but also to offer a larger screen without penalize the dimensions too much. With a larger panel, there’s more information, ideal for tasks like checking Gmail or following training. And there is a most interesting side consequence: the battery would also last a little longer
As usual with larger models, this 45mm version would likely mean a higher price. The media Android Police speculates with an increase of $ 50, but surely they are not far from the mark, taking a look precisely at the pricing strategy of Apple or Samsung. Of course, just as greater autonomy would be an inherent advantage of this model, it would also imply a handicap: current Pixel Watch bracelets would not be compatible with this 45mm model.

Finally, this leak shows that Google working on Pixel Buds Pro 2, although they do not reveal possible new features integrated into these future new wireless headphones. However, after testing the Google Pixel Buds Pro, our wishlist includes easier handling, compatibility with more codecs beyond SBC and AAC and surely other more general extras like the integration of functions of AI, more battery life, better sound quality and improved ANC. Knowing that the first Pro was released in May 2022, let’s not exclude that the next I/O 2024 is the ideal setting for its presentation. Otherwise, you will have to wait until October, release date of the Google Pixel 9.
