Google Maps History serves to see that classification is met

In a situation like the present one, created by the CoVID-19 epidemic, is the availability of data that allows us to analyze how many more alternatives are better than one of the weapons we have to contend with.

A few days ago we told how the Spanish government had started using the data obtained by telephonists. The management's view was not to regulate citizens individually, but to determine whether there was an illegal movement from one place to another, in order to control them.

But there are more sources of navigation information than antenna connectivity, such as Google Maps browsing history.

This is how Google showed me that my car wasn't stolen

The fact that Google knows where you are all the time is not always a bad thing. It helped me to know where my car was.

Google uses anonymous data to create patterns in Google Maps

Although a company led by Sundar Pichai is partnering with the United States government on a pandemic control program, it is developing other tools.

One of them is a study that uses embedded data, that is, comprehensive and not primarily, for users with Google Maps on their mobile. It's divided by country and you can see details of specific places.

On its website you can download your favorite one, and if you have a PDF you can see two sections.

The first shows the transition of travel to specific places, such as entertainment venues, pharmacies or parks. For all the graphs, a change could be observed in mid-March, at which time the alarm condition was active in Spain.

Elsewhere we have the error of those same graphs by the private community, in case we want to get more details.

How to delete your location history from Google Maps

If you want to clear your Location History on Google Maps, we easily explain the steps to follow, as well as all the possibilities.

As was the case with mobile operators, Google only uses general data, and only those users have Location History activated. If you want to turn it off you can do it in the app settings, though Google can continue to know where you are. To avoid it you must follow these steps.
