Android settings currently offers separate security and privacy sections, but Google will merge these two sections into a single section called “Security and Privacy” so that it is easier for users to protect our mobile device.
As soon as we enter this new section we will see a warning that will inform us if our device is safe or if you are at riskinforming us of alerts and possible actions, such as uninstall detected malicious application.
In the new “Security and Privacy” panel, we can scan our device, configure the screen lock of the device, check the security of our Google account, check if we have new security updates, updates update the Google Play system or find our lost devices, among other options.
This new “Security and Privacy” will arrive first on the Google Pixel then later on other Android devices. It seems that this novelty will come through a system update, and only for manufacturers who want to have this Google security and privacy panel for Android.
