HBO Max is now Max
Last year we already learned of Warner’s intentions to merge Discovery content with HBO Max, but now we’re faced with another time and another way of understanding the platform according to the production company itself.
This new service, now called Max, will offer diverse content in the form of series and films as well as documentary content from Discovery.
Already when HBO Max was launched in Europe, the price was set at 8.99 dollars, although thanks to the offer that has been launched, many subscribers pay half for life. Max will offer three pricing plans in the United States. The key is that a cheaper version will come with ads, just like the ad-supported Netflix subscription.

- No ads: $15.99 per month. Two screens at the same time, 1080p resolution, 5.1 sound, with downloads (maximum 30).
- No Ads Ultimate: $19.99 per month. Four screens at the same time, 4K HDR resolution, Dolby Atmos sound, with downloads (maximum 100).
Max’s motley content
As we mentioned, Warner Bros. intentions are to turn Max into a TV offering with all kinds of content. The sayings of HBO Max and Discovery to which reality TV shows would be added in order to reach Netflix in its offer, which is not thin.
