Xposed framework is a framework for make modifications to Android phone. In the meantime, its popularity has been hampered in some way by Magisk, but it's still a good option, especially if you want to give new life to the old signal.
One of the key features of the Xposed Framework is that, once installed, using it is as easy as searching and installing modules. However, Xposed has more than one trick up there, and here we tell you how to get the most out of it.
Find the right version
The Xposed Road starts with an installation, which, unlike Magisk, is a very complicated process because there is no universal route that operates the bulk of the calls. If you want to install Xposed on your mobile phone, you must find it the right kind for your Android version. Keep in mind that the installer is the same, but what changes the file should light on your phone.
These are legal forms, but sometimes you will need them modified version
If you have one Android 9 or higher, there is no official version of Xposed, but there are Magisk modules that restore it, such as EdXposed, Riru or Taichi. In this case, remember that the modules must also be compatible with this version of Android in order to work.
Different types of installation
Speaking of installation, if your phone is claimed and you install Xposed with its installer, you have a base three ways to install the Xposed Frame, though you may not see them all in the app, especially system-free installations, which have specific requirements. These are different forms and their meaning.
-
Direct: Installation is done directly from the program, without a restart. Of course, you have to restart the cell phone in order for the Xposed Frame to be activated, as well as the modules.
-
With Returns: If you have a custom update mode such as TWRP, the Xposed installer will help you download the file needed to light it in recovery mode.
-
Inactive: This mode will only appear under certain conditions, if you have a cellular system with no system, and it allows you to install Xposed in the same way. Remember, of course, that Xposed Systemless does not transfer to SafetyNet.
If something goes wrong, remove it
You can uninstall the Xposed Frame from its installer, but … what if Android fails to get started? Fortunately, you can too take it out of recovery mode
Remember you have to shine the concrete form of your mobile construction (ARM, ARM64, X86 …) If in doubt, at the same place where you found the Xposed Frame Installer you should find one that did not install that version.
Remove modules in reboot mode
If you've used an Xposed module that has irritated the system, luckily you can uninstall from Android Restore Mode. You will need a recovery mode with the file manager -in TWRP- to be able to delete a specific file.
Open the file manager and add a folder data / data / de.robv.android.xposed.installer / conf /. In that folder delete the module.list file, which includes a list of preloaded modules. When the file is deleted, Xposed will not load any module, which should allow you to run the program and uninstall it.
Xposed to the last
It's true that Xposed is a bit discarded at its end, but if you've downloaded your version to the XDA thread, you probably don't have the latest version. In fact, there are three official channels for translations: stable, beta and testing.
Usually you will be interested in using a stable channel, but if you have any problems you can always try to upgrade to the latest version. To change the recovery channel you must go to it Xposed installer settings.
Download the module for your version
The official backup of the Xposed Frame modules has over 1,000 entries, though unfortunately there is no way to filter what should work well on your mobile phone from what doesn't work. Fortunately, developers have found a way to get creative, which shows An Android version of the name.
For example, if you want GravityBox, one of the full custom modules, you'll see that there are versions like GravityBox (P) (for Android Pie), GravityBox (O) (for Android Oreo) and more. Downloading the right version will increase your chances of everything going as planned.
Xposed Frame Logbook
Designed for developers of modules or advanced users, Xposed has a detailed record of everything that happens in their domains You will find it, obviously, in the section Grandmothers from Xposed Installer.
Here is LogCat's Xposed Framework itself, including both details (starting with I) and errors (those starting with E). These mistakes can help you see which modules are not working properly and why
