The total amount Tim Cook received throughout 2024 between base salary, stock, compensation and more has been revealed, surpassing that of 2023
According to a document submitted annually by Apple to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the CEO of Cupertino, Tim Cook, earned the not insignificant sum of $74.6 million throughout 2024. This is a considerable increase from the 63.2 million obtained in 2023. Along with this document, Tim Cook did not miss the opportunity to express a message to shareholders stating that “they live in an exciting time defined by innovation and the profound impact of technology on people's lives.”

On February 25, Tim Cook will host the annual shareholders meeting which will be held virtually. In the annual presentation document, you can see the total breakdown of what the Apple CEO managed to earn in 2024.
- $3 million as base salary
- $58 million in stock
- $12 million in performance awards
- $1.5 million in compensation: life insurance premiums, vacation money withdrawals, security and personal expenses related to air travel
Apple's target compensation for Tim Cook was $59 million, although he earned much more through the performance incentive. Oddly enough, this is not the best figure obtained in his entire history as CEO. In 2022, Cook earned $99 million and this reduced the total compensation.

Other Apple executives earned around $27 million. Luca Maestri, Kate Adams, Deirdre O'Brien and Jeff Williams, part of Apple's org chart at the top, win $1 million base salary and just over $22 million in stock.
