The new iPhone 16th may lack Apple quick loading Magsafe technology, but do not fear because there is a simple solution where you can clean Apple error and add an effective magnetic load to the 16th.
The most overpromised compromise made by creating its entry -level model is the absence of its very appreciated and very useful Magsafe technology. Magsafe is a pillar of all iPhones from the 2020 iPhone 12 (with the only exception of the iPhone 2022 iPhone SE). It provides a faster wireless load and allows your phone to identify the devices it is stuck, so that you can do things like getting separation alerts in Findmy if your iPhone is detached from a Magsafe wallet.
The Qi wireless load is based on the positioning of the user on the phone exactly in the right place of the load device. Obtain the erroneous thumb fraction or even slightly knock the phone out of the position and the load speed will be reduced or more likely.
You can't add Real Magsafe to an iPhone 16th, but you can Add the magnet ring that helps align load coils and keep your phone on loading media and car phone media.
How to add Magsafe to the iPhone 16th
The solution to eliminate bad wireless charging performance from the iPhone 16th is quite simple: put the iPhone in a Magsafe compatible case. But make sure that is the right type of case.
With a Magsafe Premium box, this should allow the phone to magnetically lock the Magsafe charger, ensuring the alignment between the charger and the wireless load coil of the phone, and therefore an optimized coupling between the telephone coils and the charger.
We tested this using the first case of iPhone 16th on which we got their hands – the case of DBRAND socket – but the load should work with most Magsafe cases. Just note that not All the cases of iPhone 16th, even those who say that they are compatible Magsafe, will include magnets inside the case, so you will have to buy the right one. You can consult our reviews on the best iPhone 16 cases for the best iPhone 16th cases when published.
DBRAND claims that its case is particularly capable of creating the best magnetic connection between the iPhone 16th and the wireless charger because it has a “unique magnetic table configuration” which is not a simple series of magnets, which has been initially developed for ultra Samsung smartphones to eliminate the interference of electromagnetic resonance based on magnet. It lowers distortion of the field and provides more solid magnetic attachment, without triggering detections of foreign objects between the charger and the device.
There is now a huge market in Magsafe chargers, from simple rings to 3 in 1 load media which can simultaneously charge an iPhone or two, Airpods and Apple Watch. We tested and examined the best Magsafe chargers and the best magnetic power banks that also use technology to tighten the wireless battery pack at the back of the iPhone.

You always miss the best Magsafe
Although a magsafe magnetic case will resolve the issue of alignment, you will miss the advantages of a faster load. The wireless load on the iPhone 16th adheres to the standard of the first quarter and is maximum at 7.5 W, while Apple Integrated Magsafe supports the wireless load at 15 W. The latest version of Apple Magsafe charger supports the 25W wireless load on the latest iphones.

According to sources, Apple does not think that the lack of Magsafe on the 16th is a big problem because it thinks that most people charge their phone anyway using a cable and do not insist on the load speeds. An Apple representative told John Gruber in Daring Fireball that most people from the target audience of the 16th are exclusively responsible for their phones by plug them into a load cable.
But while the wired load by Lightning (iPhone 12-14) or USB-C (iPhone 15-16) is certainly faster (up to 30W) than wireless, it is far from being as practical. The lack of Magsafe of the 16th makes the wireless load a lower user experience than other iPhones and even certain Android Qi2 phones.
Because the iPhone 16th lack of magnets inside, when using a Magsafe charger, it is almost impossible to obtain a perfect alignment. Any slight offset (even a few millimeters) can cause sub-optimal coupling between the transmitter and receiver coils. This increases resistive losses and reduces the efficiency of energy transfer. But with a case, you will at least know that your phone loads, even if it will take a little more time than it should.
