- From the same desktop, as if it were any folder, we change the name to something obvious like “USB”, preferably without spaces.
- We open the application Terminal that we can locate thanks to Spotlight.
- We copy and paste the code that appears below and press enter. Note, of course, that we need to modify the code to reflect the name we chose in step two. In this case, we will use the USB name.

From there, we just wait for the terminal to complete the installer creation process. Once finished, eject the volume as we would any other of the many that we connect to the Mac. Then, if we wish, we can remove the installer from the Mac.
And nothing more, we already have in our hands a bootable installer, that is, can start on its own, to perform a clean install of the computer whenever we need it. A most useful resource in different circumstances, in addition to carrying out an installation from scratch, since it could also allow us to recover the system in certain circumstances.
