When you are in Settings> General> IPhone Storage, you will see some recommendations to optimize your storage. You will probably see two, as well as an option to show everything so that you can see more recommendations.
The reason why we have not started with this is that, although an excellent way to manage storage in the future, it is not the fastest way to recover a little hastily storage. However, this will keep you in a good place if you take the advice of Apple and put the different suggestions for managing storage in play.
An option that you will see here (if you have not already configured it) is to use iCloud photo library. This will store your photos and videos in the cloud. The iCloud photo library is an excellent solution if you want to have access to all your photos on all your devices, just make sure that Apple stores optimized versions of your device photos, rather than complete resolution versions.
Another option is to Automatically delete old conversations From the messages application. We have not done so mainly because we do not want to lose access to old messages of who have been missing for a long time, but it is a great way to reduce the amount of storage given to messages. Due to images and videos stored in messages, this can often release several gigabytes.
In a similar vein, the Review the large attachments Allows you to delete photos, videos and other media shared in attachments. So, if you are used to sharing images via messages, expect to find a lot of photos or videos here that you can delete if you know you have them in your photo application.
You can also choose Review downloaded videos. If this is an option for you, press the arrow next to it and delete all the downloads you see here that you don't need to keep. Press Edit> Press the red circle next to the program you want to delete> Press Delete.
You can also see the To Discuss unused applications. Here, Apple is voluntary to automatically unload the applications rarely used when you start to run out of storage. “Unloading” deletes the application itself, which is easy to replace with the download of rotation. But it keeps documents and data, which are likely to be irreplaceable. You can also find the option of unloading unused applications under Settings> App Store. Make sure that automatic applications automatic downloads are not selected here, so that applications do not automatically download when you add them to other devices.
