Samsung is one of the brands that provides the most tools to users in Europe. The brand has a lot of its own apps with which you can control your phone usage, personalize it, or get the most out of it. One of these tools is Galaxy Labs, among which we have modules to control the temperature of the mobile, for example.
Among these modules, we can download on our phone Samsung is Battery Tracker. It is a module that will allow us to monitor the use of the phone’s battery over time, thus seeing which applications are those that consume the most or spend time active. A good way to have this information.
Control the temperature of your Samsung mobile with this new application
Thermal Guardian is a Samsung Galaxy Labs module that will help you monitor the temperature of your mobile and its processor throughout the day.
Control battery usage on Samsung
The idea of Battery Tracker is that you can have a clear idea of your phone’s battery usage, be able to see which apps are active the longest (running) and which consume the most battery over time. This is useful and important information, as it can help you detect possible malicious applications or those that are over-consuming due to a problem with them.
- Download Galaxy Labs to your Samsung phone, available in the Galaxy Store, at this link.
- Open Galaxy Labs.
- Credit in Battery Tracker.
- Install Battery Tracker on your phone.
- Once installed, open this module.
- View battery consumption over the past 24 hours or 7 days.
In this module we have two columns that we can see, on the one hand the use of the battery and on the other hand the time they are active. In the battery usage, we are going to see the percentage of battery that each of these applications that we have on our phone consumes, either in the last 24 hours or in the last 7 days. This information allows us to see if this use is normal, especially since in the active time column we can see the applications that we have used the most time.
If we see that there is an app that consumes too much battery, especially in relation to when we use it on our Samsung mobile, we could determine that there is something wrong with said app. This information could reveal that the application is malicious or that there is a problem with it, in order to remove it from the phone or limit its use.
