The new operating system for our iPhone, iOS 16, brings a lot of small changes and improvements. One of those changes is that now on the home screen there is a new search button that replaces the indicators of the previous page. An interesting button, yes, but that we may want to deactivate.
to search or not to search
Find us button gives quick access to Spotlight. So instead of having to swipe down from the center of the screen, a simple touch takes us there. A change that also makes the search function more obvious to those unfamiliar with it. And if we wanted to return to the indicators of the previous page? can. Here are the steps for that:
- We open the application Settings on our iPhone.
- We entered Start screen.
- We activate or deactivate Show on home screen under the “Search” section.
It’s so simple. With this step, the search button will appear or disappear according to our preferences. A button, yes, which gives us access to a Vastly improved projector with rich results
In iOS 16, we’ve taken a pretty big leap in terms of customization. The same home screen customization is the biggest exponent, but small details like deciding whether we want to be able to get to Spotlight faster they are interesting.
