In this article, we will take you step by step through how to apply for the “COVID passport” so that you can travel wherever you want. It doesn’t matter whether your Autonomous Community has an app to request this document or not, you will be able to do so anyway.
What is the COVID digital certificate used for?
It is one of the most important documents ever released during the pandemic. Tea allows you to travel to any country of the European Union, proving that you are not a carrier of the virus and that you are therefore not a danger to the population of this region. Although they may look alike, it should not be confused with the vaccination certificate, which only confirms that you have received the complete immunization schedule.
The difference is that this document verifies that you have the vaccine doses, that you have a negative PCR, or that you have had the disease for less than six months. Each of these conditions has a separate document, which you can request from individually or all three at the same time, depending on your situation.

How to request the COVID certificate from your iPhone
There are several ways to get this document to your mobile, although an explanation of each option is necessary so that there are no issues. The most general means available is the Ministry of Health, the body that signs and authorizes this certificate to travel. From their website, a specific section has been created for this request. Before getting it, you have to identify yourself, and there are several ways to do this. First of all, go to the website of the Ministry to click on “Go directly to the EU Digital COVID certificate request“.
For the process, you can identify yourself with the permanent password, with the digital certificate or with the self-signing program, available only on PC. The simplest is usually that of Permanent key, since you only need the PIN code app to register and access the platform.
Once you have identified yourself, you can go to the section where you can request the Certificate. Note that once the procedure is complete, the Ministry will send you a PDF document with all the required certificates, as well as another in paper version if you add your home address.
To order them, you must meet certain requirements: either having passed the COVID, having a negative PCR or having been vaccinated in Europe. Without any of these requirements, you won’t be able to claim any.
