If you don't need the phone to be all day, why should you on it? Some customized Android frameworks allow you either set the time when the cell phone is turned on and off automatically, without your intervention.
It should be emphasized that it is not a native option, but it is one of those additions that manufacturers are adding to their components. So there you have it on Huawei, Xiaomi and OPPO / Realme with EMUI, MIUI and ColorOS respectively. We'll also see what you can do with Samsung's mobiles and other products.
Huawei phones via EMUI
Huawei mobiles include the ability to program and unlock several versions of EMUI. To configure it, you must go to Settings> Accessibility features
Open the main switch and select you want the phone to be unlocked at any time and you want it to come out at any time. You can customize which days of the week you want the program to be repeated (daily, daily or on custom days).
Xiaomi phones with MIUI
Xiaomi phones with MIUI have the same option. This time you should go to Settings for Battery and performance then touch Edit on / off. In this case you can choose them separately if you want to turn the automatic on and off, and when and where you want it to be repeated.
OPPO / Realme phones with Color OS
For ColorOS phones, the way to set up a cell phone to turn on or off at a certain time means you open the settings and install Additional configuration
Samsung Samsung
Samsung Mobile do not install yet option to turn on or off at a specific time, but all you can do is edit it to restart. In this case the option is presented as a way to "update" the cellular functionality.
As an option to make, it's on the inside Device Configuration, in advanced selection. Activate Automatic restart and you can choose at what time you want it (although they will only be achieved when the screen is off, the phone is inactive, the battery is over 30% and the SIM is not protected by a PIN).
Other mobile phones (with root)
If your phone doesn't have a factory option, there is no way to start it at a specific time. What you can do with apps is set to turn off at some point, though you will need mobile to reach the roots.
There are many applications on Google Play that allow you to do this, such as AutoOff, which you may turn off when spend some time or at a specific time. In all cases, apps require root access, as it makes sense to be able to turn off the phone for something that shouldn't be out of reach.
