It is recommended configure automatic updates for television from the same menu. Whenever a notification of a new available software version appears on the screen, consider taking the time necessary to update the Smart TV.
How to Update a Tizen TV (Samsung)

Samsung Smart TVs have Tizen operating system for several years now. Their update is also very simple, it only requires an Internet connection and, of course, you do not have to turn off the TV during the update process, which can take several minutes. It is also not recommended to disconnect the Internet while updating the system.
To update a Samsung Smart TV we follow these steps:
- We press the house-shaped button on the remote control and move to the left, until we find the option Setting (gear shaped)
- Next we access technical support and select Software update
- Finally, we select “Update now” to check for an update. If a new version is available, the TV will download and install it. We also recommend enabling automatic system updating.
How to update a WebOS TV (LG)

LG Smart TVs also feature their own proprietary operating system, WebOS
Steps to update an LG smart TV:
- On the controller we press the gear-shaped button and select “All setup” in the options menu that appears at the side of the screen
- Once in the settings menu, we access the General section
- Finally, we select “About this TV” then we select Check for updates. The Smart TV will perform a search and, if a new version of the operating system is available, it will proceed to download and install it. The TV should not be turned off during this process , which can take several minutes
