The app for previewing our Mac among its many functions allows us change photos and edit colors, lights, contrast, etc.
Color palette
The color palette allows us adjust exposure, contrast, shadows, broadcast, etc. It also has the default option. For this Palette to simply appear Adjust color … menu Tools app. Alternatively we can press Option (⌥) + Command (⌘) + C on the keyboard. Let's take a look at what options offer us:
- At the top we can edit the histogram, with its members, blacks and spots by sliding different objects.
- Soon below we find out Automatic adjustment
- Below we find lighting tools:
- Exposure, when increasing or decreasing the "brightness" of the image.
- Compare, to increase or decrease the difference between dark and light tones.
- Points of light, to increase or decrease the brightness of bright areas.
- Shadows, to increase or decrease the decrease of dark areas.
- Now we find another group of tools, colors:
- Saturday, when increasing or decreasing the appearance of colors.
- Heat, where you can choose between a neutral or a cold.
- Tone, the estimate is based on the white point point of the image, which we can select using an eyeliner in the form of an eyedropper.
- Cuttlefish, giving a sepia tone to the image and classic character.
- The final stage allows us to convert Sharpness of the picture and the description of the edges of the material.
- Finally, we find out Reset everything, to start again.
Size palette
As its name implies, the size palette allows us adjust the size of the image and its resolution. To enter this palette we choose Resize … menu Tools app. It offers several options:
- We should, where we can choose a standard size set as 1024×1024 or 1920×1920.
- Width, when describing the width of our image.
- Height, when we define height.
- Next to Width y Height We find a selector where we can choose where you want to see both units: pixels, percent, inch, cm, mm either the points.
- The decision, to show the desired solution.
- Again this aside The decision we find a unit selector where we can choose between: pixels / inch either pixels / cm.
- Adjust size accordingly, allowing us to choose whether we want to distort the image or delete it. If this option is activated and we double up, the range will be adjusted accordingly. On the contrary, if the path is not limited and we double the height, we will end up with an image where it will look much smaller.
- Sample image, doing that approval allows us to enlarge the image without losing detail.
- Below we find the resulting image size and its weight.
When we are done entering new sizes or resolution easily we touch Agree.
Whether to change the color or size of an image, once we have completed the changes we simply close it Preview and the file will be automatically saved in the new settings. It's that simple.
