For a long time, work that could be useful sometimes, and less well known, has been circulating in the Android ecosystem. We're talking about the use of split screen applications either split screen. Our phone's screen is split into two for each application and to use them both at the same time, that's easy.
It's not a well-known function because not all developers have used it in their various Android applications, however Xiaomi is one of those included in MIUI, its related layer. Next we will show you how to use this crack screen with compatible (not all) compatible applications, it's simple.
How to have two apps open on a split screen
How to access apps on the split screen is very simple and you have to turn on the program's multitasking. This can be accessed from two ways
There are two ways to access multitasking depending on whether it worked well or not
With physical touch it worked, we have to slide from the bottom of the screen up, as if to return to the big screen, but hold a finger for a second before removing. Therefore, the applications opened in the background will be displayed, the multitasking menu we want to access. If we have it, then transmission line just press the square button to access the same menu.
Once inside, we have two ways to use this cracked screen. We can click at the top of the screen, where we say Split Screen. After that the phone will ask us to press the app without uninstalling and dragging it to the top of the screen. So we'll have the first app on a separate screen. To use the second one, you'll only need to navigate between open applications (yes, it should be unlocked earlier) and click on it. A simple touch will be enough for the second app to take up less space.
The second option is that we select exactly the app we want to show at the top of the screen in the multitasking menu. Once we find it, we do it long pressure on her and we'll see that the drop-down menu appears on the right. One of the symbols is that with two rectangles placed one above the other, an icon representing a cracked screen. Press and we already set up the first app. Now, as in the other program, we look at the second edition and click it. It's that simple.
But as we've noted before, not all apps allow us to work on a split screen. Other apps, such as Instagram, bring this display to the screen of our mobile. We'll know that the app doesn't allow us to work on the split screen as soon as we want to place it at the top or bottom of our Xiaomi screen. The message will indicate that the application does not support split screen. Again, it's easy.
Once we have screen partitioning apps, we can provide extra space for some damage by dragging the dividing line between two or down, or off the road if we use the phone directly. App desktop expansion is average, and if we win the program will translate that we want to use one app at a time and it will forward the app we expand before.
