We are convinced that most of you are clear which devices are excluded from the new version of the watchOS 8 operating system. But there are also a lot of new users who are coming to the Apple world thanks to this device or considering buying one which is why this article is for them.

The Apple Watch Series 2 is performing fine at this point and even though they have a current operating system that is are in version 7.6.1

when Apple decides to release version 8 of the operating system, they will be excluded from the update.

Apple Watch Series 2 dates from September 2016

All models will be compatible with the new version and therefore Apple cuts this version directly on a watch that was presented in September 2016, probably a more than reasonable time for users to change models or simply enjoy their benefits without claiming to much more than what it already offers. And is this not accepting the new version of the operating system does not mean that the device stops working, this is something that many users still do not fully understand.

On the other hand, if your intention is to enter the world of the Apple Watch and buy one, we of course recommend the latest version of the watch available or in any case if you do not want to spend a lot on it. Series 6 version, it is better to go for the SE version which is very affordable. You can also expect to drop as Apple may release its new Series 7

While there aren’t too many rumors about it at the moment, the new watch model is said to be almost ready to launch.
