Google’s AI is Geminiand it has already landed on your Android smartphone with a native application that also allows you to replace the traditional Google Assistant thanks to the power of language models. However, the search engine company didn’t stop there and added its Image model to generate images as well as extensions that expand the possibilities of Gemini.
Now, imaging with Gemini is better than ever: as 9to5Google reports, the latest version of the Google Image model joins the chatbot to provide us with very realistic images, with more details and which do not require paying one of Google’s subscriptions. So you can start using Image 3 in Gemini
Image 3 improves image generation in Google Gemini
It was back in May when the search giant revealed news about its ecosystem at Google I/O, the annual developers conference. He unveiled his new generative AI models: Veo, Imagen 3 and Lyria improve the generation of video, images and music.
But until now we couldn’t use one of them, Image 3, which is coming to Gemini and is being made available to users. These are the three principles in which it has greatly improved, according to Google:
- Stunning image quality– Sharp details, vibrant colors and fewer imperfections
- Realistic images– Vivid photorealistic details make your images stand out
- Different styles– Play from classic oil paintings to modern digital art.
To start generating images, open the Gemini app – if you don’t have it yet, you can download it from the Play Store – and start your fast (request) with the formula “Imagine” or “Generate an image with…”, Gemini will recognize our message and display a message that the generation has begun:
Generating images with image 3…
In a few seconds you will have the image in your conversation with Gemini, ready to use. You can see it in a reduced version from the same window, or download it from maximum resolution to do what you want. Luckily, Image 3 is available to all Gemini users around the world because Google has already rolled it out.
In addition, it is not necessary to subscribe to the Google One AI modality, using Image 3 is totally free. There is a small limitation for users who do not pay a monthly fee: generating images with people is not available at the moment.
For the rest, the limit is set by your imagination. We hope that in the near future Google will press the button and allow generating images without any limitations. In the meantime, it is a very useful tool, and it is available everywhere from our Android mobile.
