After spending several weeks in beta, iOS 16.4 is now available for public download. Although iOS 16 has been with us since September of last year, the number of new features that come with this update have made it the biggest in recent months.
Notable improvements in this update include new emojis, voice isolation for phone calls and more. We have already talked about several of these functions in Actualidad iPhone.
Also, with iOS 16.4 we have the arrival of iPadOS 16.4, tvOS 16.4, watchOS 9 and macOS Ventura 13. All of these updates incorporate what is coming with iOS 16.4, and As this is not a beta version, we recommend everyone to update
How to Install iOS 16.4
iOS 16.4 is available for download on the following devices:
- iPhone SE 2 and SE 3
- iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
- iPhone X and XR
- iPhone XS and XS Max
- iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
- iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max
Updates are usually applied automatically. But, if you want to do it as soon as possible, go to “Setting“, section “General“then select”Software update”.
If the update is not available, be sure to check back regularly as some devices may take some time to arrive.. Once the download process is complete, you will need to restart your device for it to install and the whole process to complete. Please note that you will not be able to use your iPhone while the update is installing.
We also advise you to make a backup before starting the process.
