The iPhone 14 Pro could have Always active Display
Apparently, the screens that the iPhone 14 Pro will use will be able to vary its refresh rate between 120 Hz and 1 Hz onlywhich is perfect for the function Always active Display. Going down to a single hertz, the screen refreshes once per second, spending very little battery and allowing the feature to always be active. It’s something the Apple Watch has been doing since Series 5.
However, while iPhone 14 Pro displays can do this, Apple may not allow it without compatible software.
