It is not often that Apple publishes an iOS update to tackle a single security vulnerability – there are at least a few connected safety holes even in a minor version of iOS points.
It is even rarer than the security correction in question addresses something that was apparently already corrected. But this is exactly the case with iOS 18.3.2 and iPados 18.3.2. According to Apple's security note on this version, the only change in this version is a webkit update to solve an out -of -limited writing problem that has allowed content to get out of the “web sandbox”. The most interesting part is Apple's note that it was a problem addressed in iOS 17.2 in December 2023 and needed additional attention:
This is an additional solution for an attack that has been blocked in iOS 17.2. (Apple is aware of a report that this problem may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on the versions of iOS before iOS 17.2.)
So go in the settings and update your iPhones, iPads and Mac. There is a vulnerability of security which was not as well fixed as it should have been more than a year ago.
