March 2019 was a month of madness for Apple lovers as the apple company decided to launch updates for several products, including one for the iPad mini (2019).
So yes, you might think it's too early to think about product updates, but as you will know, Apple fans are not resting. We always want more, though the iPad mini (2019) is certainly a tablet Apple is a better value.
It is currently available for € 449, though there are many more expensive options if you decide to expand gigabytes of your storage memory or if you just want to use mobile or Wi-Fi data only.
For this reason, we're just thinking of a new mini: When will Apple launch the next iPad mini? What changes will it bring? What will be its new tools? How much will the iPad mini 2020 cost?
In this article we compile and analyze all the interesting, existing and reliable tracks that point to Apple's next launch, and we do our best to predict the future of this product. But if you'd like to hear some facts about the current range, check out ours IPad Shopping Guide and a summary of good deals for iPad.
Release Date: When will the new mini be announced?
IPads, unfortunately, do not have a proven plan for the launch of standard iPhones, and the mini-line is much harder to predict than most. These are the days when we saw Apple launch mini iPads:
- IPad mini: October 2012
- IPad mini 2: October 2013
- IPad mini 3: October 2014
- IPad mini 4: September 2015
- IPad mini (2019): March 2019
Do you see that huge gap between the fourth and fifth generations? That's what makes it hard to guess Apple's next step. Four consecutive autumns saw the release of the iPad mini, in which case we had to wait three and a half years to see another update.
The big question is whether the mini also ranks among Apple's best products. If the 2019 update is a success and sales are good (and our suspicions they will be) Apple will likely be renewed next spring.
That's the case with the iPad 9.7in (2017) – it turned out, everyone bought it, and it was an Apple supplement that sees updates every year.
If sales aren't enough, we may not see another miniature for another three years, if we get another one. But our experience with the new mini is excellent, and our anecdotal concept of the industry is excellent, too, we hope it will be a spring launch.
Will they get rid of the iPad mini?
We doubt it! Things were looking bad in a thin line before the 2019 update, but now it's clear that Apple likes it tablet small Will there be a mini 6 for the iPad? Yes
New iPad mini 6 design
In this field Apple is always safe for rebuilding in 2019, for obvious reasons: if the new mini and Air model had gotten a ridiculous home design with no buttons for the 2018 iPad Pro models, they would have made those devices (more expensive) less in particular.
But 2020 may be different. At that point there is a good chance that the next generation of iPad Pros will be released, and this will come with new and special features. At that time, the features of the 2018 Pro can be safely distributed across the range …. probably.
Against this idea: compatibility with the first-generation Apple Pencil remains exclusive to Pro for two and a half years, not one. So don't look at the fact that the tiny house has a full screen layout – we just think it is possible.
If the iPad mini loses the & # 39; Start & # 39; as we suggest in the compose section, we can expect the face ID to merge with the new format.
There was also some doubt about the facial ID on the iPad, because pills are not available as Smartphones; For the larger iPad Pro in particular, it often requires you to lean forward to a desk to place your cup on the camera icon. But that will be a bit of a problem with lightweight and portable miniweight.
We suspect that compatibility with the second-generation Apple Pencil will not reach this generation, for reasons already discussed: the first-generation pencil remained the same in Proso for two and a half years, and in March 2020 the second generation will be available in one and a half Pro.
And generally, when predicting the features of the next iPad mini, you have to remember that Apple will probably always want to wear it first in the Pro range, so that it can later reach the Air and mini in the next (or later) generation.
The OLED screen therefore looks less attractive at this time, as it supports a mouse and dual lens camera.
However, we believe ProMotion technology shows pills Pro could reach a smaller range by 2020.
As far as specifications are concerned, the mechanism is likely to be incremental development and not radical change.
When will a new processor have a new mini mini?
We will definitely get an A13 processor, to start with. Our friends Macworld of the US they predict a 7nm process as on the A12 chip, but suggest that it could be an upgraded version of & # 39; 7nm + & # 39; or even & # 39; 7nm Pro & # 39 ;, which will result in chip and power durability.
We believe that RAM computation and rear camera segmentation can not be expected after much improved in March 2019 (from 2 GB to 3 GB and 1,2 MP to 7 MPa, respectively).
Will the mini-mini camera change?
But the rear camera can attract attention, as it has been stuck at 8Mp for the past two generations. The mini version is portable enough to be an effective camera, and 8Mp is a few megapixels today.
Apple can also update the mini stereo (2019) to rate speakers, something that's been offered in the Pro range since 2015.
Software and applications
As we expected, Apple did not introduce any new iPad at the WWDC event in June 2019, though it announced a new one software for iPad: iPadOS, a special iPad app.
Apparently, iPadOS is inspired by iOS 13, and many of its tools, such as black mode, will be available in the iPad version.
IPadOS will be available to the public in the fall, a beta version can now be installed. In the case of the launch of the iPad mini, it will probably come with the factory-installed Windows iPad.
