Yesterday Apple confirmed to us that the next Apple Event would take place on Monday, September 9. As we mentioned in Actualidad iPhone, there could be surprises about the date of the event and it could not be the 10th, this has been confirmed by those in Cupertino. We hope that Apple will present at this event the new range of iPhone 16, Apple Watch “Series Is there also room at this Apple event for a new iPad Mini model?

According to Mark Gurman in his posts on Bloomberg, Several Apple Stores are out of stock of iPad Mini 6, which, on other occ asions and with other devices, usually means we’ll see a new product soon. A new iPad Mini is in the works according to the analyst.

“Many Apple Stores are running out of stock of iPad Minis in various configurations, while The device is considered “limited” internally within Appleas I was told. This could be a sign that a new one is coming. It hasn’t been updated since 2021,” Gurman posted in a post on X.

Let us remember that The iPad Mini has now been without any type of update for 3 years. Since its launch in 2021, it has been equipping the new Home button-less design with an 8.3-inch LCD display powered by the A15 Bionic (the same as the iPhone 13). This, currently this makes it a model unable to run Apple Intelligence and that’s probably not part of Apple’s plans. It needs to be renewed.

Certainly, this renovation has more to do with the internal part than with the design itself. An update to the iPad Mini’s brain would make it compatible with Apple Intelligence and boost its sales. Of course, can we expect it in September? Everything indicates that Most likely it would be presented in October at the Mac-focused eventbut if Apple did introduce it on the 9th, it wouldn’t be a surprise. It has done so in the past.
