A new rumor indicates that Apple plans to use a new ultra-thin bezel technology called Border Reduction Structure (BRS) Which will allow Reduce iPhone 16 bezels to maximize screen sizes. This technology is based on reducing the frame (especially lower) by wrapping the internal copper wiring into a more compact structure. According to sources, Apple already tried to use this technology in the iPhone 15, but was unsuccessful as it faced issues with components overheating.

This technology would be applied to the four iPhone 16 models and would allow increase the dimensions of the devices, providing them with more screen in a slightly larger device size, reaching a 6.3-inch model and another 6.9-inch model. This increase in size also would allow the inclusion of larger batteries which would increase autonomy compared to the iPhone 15.
