As Apple’s expected spring keynote approaches, which is yet to be confirmed, the rumor mills are picking up pace. So, Gurman reiterated his prediction that we will see the iPhone SE 3, a new iPad Air and at least one new Mac at this event. He also expects us to see an iMac Pro and the long-awaited AirPods Pro 2 later this year.
A busy spring for Apple
The main drums in the spring keep beating, still slow but steady. Gurman assures that it will be a busy time in his newsletter, as he indicates that we will see up to three new Apple products. First, we can take it for granted that the iPhone SE 3 has been rumored for months.
About this iPhone, we assume that will come with 5G connectivity and it will catch up with the rest of the home terminals. We should also see it with a faster processor, which could very well be the same A15 Bionic as the iPhone 13. Of course, it will have the same design so far with the Home button and Touch ID.
About the iPad AirIt’s rumored to have the A15 Bionic chip with optional 5G cellular connectivity, Center Stage on the front camera, and a quad-LED True Tone flash. A true heir to the 2021 iPad mini, as it would have those same specs but in a longer body. Recall that the iPad Air has already changed its design to its current state a few years ago, without Face ID but with Touch ID on the lock button.
As for the Mac, Gurman does not specify which model we will see, although it indicates that there could be several. But this rumored iMac Pro which recovers the brand of the model that disappeared a year ago is being considered. A Mac mini and a revamped MacBook Air M2 are also expected.
There are many things we hope to see and little time must wait. Fingers crossed that the predictions come true.
