This Apple Computer check signed by Pro Steve Jobs exceeded $40,000 at auction.

Jobs signed the check on July 23, 1976, four months after founding Apple Computer Company, at a time when he and Steve Wozniak were working on the Apple-1 computer. Approximately 200 Apple-1 computers were produced, 50 of which were sold to The Byte Shop in July 1976 retailing for $666.66.
