Europe has been trying to control and bring Apple under control for some time. USB-C, antitrust investigations… and now one more: the App Store. It is not the first time that we have tried to enter the Apple App Store, but it is true that now we have seen a real consequence.

Some curious data that could benefit Apple in the future
In one report published on Apple’s website confirmed what was already obvious: that Apple is doing has over 45 million users in their app stores in Europe. Bad news, because as we have already said, its regulation will be much stricter.
The exact data is interesting:
- iOS App Store: 101 million users.
- iPadOS app store: 23 million users.
- macOS app store: six million users.
- tvOS App Store: a million users.
These figures also give us an idea of the best performing products in Europe. It obviously cannot be taken into account with the Macbecause not only are apps downloaded through its App Store, but the rest is a good indicator.
What we can take from this is that only the iOS app store would fall into this classification
We still do not know with certainty and in a concrete way what these stricter measures will translate into. In all cases, these will apply solely and exclusively to the iOS App Store.
