With so much new in spatial audio, lossless quality, and active noise cancellation, sometimes we often miss such commonplace details as an equalizer. Apple is one of the companies that always recommends that you listen to songs the way the artists want you to listen to them, but you can always change these audio settings.
There are a few ways to do this, but they all involve changing whatever equalizer settings you have on hand depending on the music service you’re using or the app you’re in. Let’s see how to do it step by step.
How to Increase iPhone Sound in Apple Music
If you’re an Apple Music subscriber or use the “Music” app to listen to songs you’ve synced from your Mac or PC, you can access your equalizer through Settings in the Music section:
There you have a bunch of preset equalizer settings so you can highlight the part you want in the songs. If you want the voice to sound above the rest of the instruments, you have the “Voice Amplifier” option available:
How to Boost iPhone Sound on Spotify
If what you’re using is Spotify, you can enable its equalizer from its settings and in the “Equalizer” section:
In this case you have a bit more freedom to tweak this EQ manually, although if you’re not an audio connoisseur it’s best to select one of the presets:
If you don’t use Apple Music or Spotify, you have more alternatives: there are apps in the App Store that add equalizers not just for music, but for the rest of iOS sounds. We can cite as an example Equalizer Fx which is free but already has its own policy of additional functions after optional in-app purchases.
The important thing is that, although they are somewhat hidden, music services, both from Apple and other companies, have their own equalizers for those of you who are not satisfied with the standard audio configuration. . And it’s always good that users have these options.
