I’ve tried the best androids, bought them with my own money, had the chance to try out the annual podium contenders and I was able to face them with its opponents, the iPhone. I followed their paths in my own way: I never changed sides, I decided to get the best out of each.
Passionate about technology, I have always sought out new things without being guided by a brand or a trend. I am usually one of the first to try something, one of the first to adopt the technology. And I jumped on the bandwagon of both major mobile operating systems from the beginning: I’ve been combining Android and iPhone for 15 years. I never felt the need to switch to one or the other because I was already on both.

To talk about a system you have to know the competition well.

It seems like you have to be on Android or iPhone, but the truth is that There is no reason to abandon a system simply because there is competition between the two.. In fact, there is no big difference between using an Android device and an iPhone. As long as the features are equivalent to each other, we are not going to compare an iPhone 15 pro Max against a Redmi Note 13.
The first smartphone I had was Nokia and Symbian branded: I still remember it Nokia 7650a 2002 mobile phone that was one of the first to feature a built-in digital camera. Five years later, Steve Jobs introduced the original iPhone Edge, a smartphone that ended up changing everything thanks to its huge capacitive touchscreen. I got this phone a few months later, ordered from the United States.
Apple has achieved a combination of hardware, software and developer support that, despite the initial lack of an App Store (it arrived a year later), ended up giving the key to the rest of those who came after. Including Google with its Android: my first phone arrived the same year I bought my iPhone, 2009. An HTC Magic from Vodafone that opened the doors to what I like most about this system: customization.

Since 2009 I have been combining iPhones and the hundreds of Androids that have passed through my pockets. I really liked the iPhone 3G and I enjoyed even more jewels like the Motorola Milestone and the Samsung Galaxy S2, in my opinion one of the best Androids of that time (better with the extended battery, because it lasted very little).
I’ve experienced the iPhone 4 “antennagate” and a Samsung Galaxy Note II crash with the arrival of Knox. And I’ve experienced in my combined use how Google, Apple and other manufacturers have copied each other to the point of making today’s phones truly portable machines.
Reality: iPhones and good Androids are very similar
Both offer a fantastic experience using the system, its apps, games and even the cameras. Yes indeed, we need to compare equivalent smartphones in terms of performance, hardware and software capabilities. That’s why I never switched from Android to iPhone or vice versa: I think a tech fan should see how good each side is, which is a lot. Only then is it possible to get an objective idea of the whole.
