New York Police Department officers had three friends separated: a plank, a gun and his notebook. And we say they had it because they took a decision replace this last item with the Apple smartphones app. The good news is not only with the production line, but also with the environment.
The New York Police Department is a law enforcement agency. For over 100 years, they have been using classic paper notebooks documenting all details related to arrests, 911 calls, tool sharing and more. However, this will change on February 17, the date on which it will be upgraded and use the mobile phone application.
The story of the organization
These notebooks have become a critical element of the New York Police Department's investigations. It was customary to keep them for a while if the information they have entered can be useful in the future, such as a trial or acquiring an old case.
However, all information will be recorded and digitized thanks to an iPhone application to be used by members of the New York City police force. This will make it easier to get specific information from can communicate and search for keywords or is limited in a day.
New York Police Department deputy chief Anthony Tasso told an American newspaper The New York Times an interview in which he comments on every detail of the change and what he will add to the change. Authorities have been given the iPhone since 2015, they currently have approximately 37,000 smartphones from an apple bite.
