New filters for cats

A few days later, WhatsApp launched version 24.10.4 which activated filters for chats, a new function that comes so that we have faster access to the conversions we want to see. Currently, WhatsApp has three different filters for chats:

• All: is the filter activated by default which displays the classic view of all your messages.
• Not read: With this filter, only messages that you mark as unread or that you have not yet opened will be displayed, this is a way of prioritizing your responses.
• Groups: This was a highly requested feature, when you enable this filter only WhatsApp groups will appear. Subgroups of communities will also be included in this section.

Create profile photos with AI

This new feature was discovered in the beta version of WhatsApp and will take artificial intelligence further. As we discovered, WhatsApp will allow you to create a profile photo with AI, By simply describing the image it will be created and you can use it as your profile picture.

More time for voice statuses

Last May, WhatsApp also changed the duration of “voice states”. THE WhatsApp statuses allow you to upload a photo, video, text or voice note so your contacts can see it for 24 hours. Until now, voice notes were only 30 seconds long, but WhatsApp recently changed them to make voice statuses last up to a minute.

Color chats on WhatsApp

This is one of the new features most awaited by many users: you will be able to change the colors of WhatsApp chats among 5 options. From what we have seen in the WhatsApp beta we will have the options: default blue, black/gray, pink and purple. However, this function is currently only available in beta versions, but it should arrive in a future update, we will see if throughout this year.

These are all the WhatsApp news that we have discovered throughout this month of May 2024. The messaging app has had a very full year with many important improvements that change the way we use the app on a daily basis.
