We’ve known about Android 14 for a few months now. In fact, it’s already progressing to beta 2.1 on Pixel devices. For its part, Manufacturers like Vivo are already preparing to adapt their customization layers to this version. And after a Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13, they now confirm which phones will be the first to receive the new version adapted to Android 14.
They haven’t fully introduced Funtouch OS 14, which they should do in the coming months. However, yes have confirmed which exact ranges and models that they will receive it.
Vivo models confirmed to receive Android 14
As we said, there are still months until Android 14 with Funtouch OS will not only be released on Vivo mobiles, but also for this version of the diaper to be officially presented. However, from Vivo they have informed us that it will reach these models of the ‘Y’, ‘V’ and ‘X’ series:
We note that there is a mid-range of 2022 and even some high-end of 2021 like the ‘X60 Pro’. Its latest jewels are not lacking either. However, the update policy they have repeatedly stated makes us suspect that there will probably be more models in the future and not just these.
In any case, these are the devices they have already confirmed. On the part of the company, they claim that they will soon publicly carry out this presentation event in which they will also present a calendar of updates. And it is that, for the moment, we only know that these devices will receive Android 14 “later this year”
If we look at the presentation dates of Funtouch OS 13 with Android 13, we’re going in october. In fact, this is usually a month in which not only Vivo but also other manufacturers start rolling out updates. In any case, we await new developments on the matter.
