Apple launched AirPower in 2017 and after a bitter wait in 2019 they warned that the project was canceled. It may be due to the difficulty of preventing the excess from getting too hot. But ever since AirPower was made public entrance manufacturers try to emulate the concept, and they are getting close to finding another viable alternative.

Difficulty avoiding extremes
