The catalog of free channels for Google TV users continues to grow. If you have a Smart TV with this platform, or even a Chromecast device with Google TV, you don’t have to pay anything or register to access it over 100 free channels from your TVand every few months Google adds even more channels.
This is the case of the latest update of Google TV available since June. The platform added 10 new channelsincluding a channel dedicated to classic films cowboysthe cowboys of the Wild West, a news channel, a financial channel and several documentaries, including one on the affairs of the American FBI. Here’s what you need to know about the free channels on Google TV.
130+ Free Channels for Google TV: Movies, TV Shows, News & More
These are FAST chains, or “Free ad-supported streaming TV“, that is, channels available in streaming with an economic model based on advertising. They are free, yes, but they include ads. It’s like watching regular TV, but over the internet and with much more control over the content of what you see. There are several popular FAST content services, including Pluto TV and Plex TV.
In the case of Google TV, among the available channels is Classic Doctor Who, a channel that broadcasts episodes of the classic seasons of this legendary science fiction series. There is also a channel whose programming is dedicated to Korean drama series (or “K-Dramas”), there are several channels dedicated to cinema, cooking channels (including The Jamie Oliver Channel) and many channels of documentary and investigative programs.
With the Google TV update in June, The following channels are coming to the platform:

- Real Disaster Chain
- Sweeping in supermarkets
- FBI Files
- The World’s Craziest Police Videos
- Yahoo Finance
In general, all kinds of content are available on more than 130 channels, some in Spanish, but most in English, at least currently. In the future, let’s hope that Google continues to add channels in our language.
Some most interesting channels available These include Hallmark Movies & More, FilmRise Action, Baywatch, BBC Top Gear, Kocowa K-Drama, Murder, She Wrote, Classic Doctor Who, World Poker Tour, and FilmRise Free Movies, among others.
